Chemical Engineer – Project & Laboratory Role

About the role
This permanent position is based at the client’s head office in Hemel Hempstead. You will work Monday‑Friday in a high‑spec laboratory and production environment, contributing to large‑scale scientific equipment projects for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Lead project engineering activities across multiple large‑scale equipment projects.
- Oversee the bespoke manufacture of scientific and chemistry‑related equipment.
- Conduct analytical studies and laboratory testing to ensure product quality.
- Plan and deliver equipment to clients, coordinating with R&D and quality teams.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering.
- Background in project, R&D or quality engineering within an industrial setting.
- Ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead (commutable from Watford, Berkhamsted, St Albans, Luton, Hatfield, Aylesbury).
