Chemical Sales Technician

About the role

This is a 100% field‑based position based in East Anglia, where you will act as the on‑site representative for a leading global manufacturer. You will travel between customer sites, performing water chemistry testing and supporting the optimisation of industrial water systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct chemistry tests, log results and produce technical reports.
• Inspect, calibrate and maintain chemical feed systems, process monitoring equipment and pre‑treatment units.
• Sample and manage cooling water, steam plant water, closed‑loop systems and wet‑end chemistry.
• Maintain chemical inventories, order supplies and support new application set‑ups.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with on‑site stakeholders.

Required profile

• Graduate degree or relevant qualification in Chemistry, Biology, Sciences, Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with steam plants, cooling towers, closed water systems and water‑treatment testing.
• Full, clean UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel daily across the region.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented team player with strong communication skills.
