Chemistry Teacher – West Lancashire (Sept‑Dec)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chemistry Teacher for a full‑time temporary placement in a welcoming secondary school in West Lancashire. The role starts in September and runs until the Christmas break, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Chemistry lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
• Contribute to the Science department’s collaborative culture and support pupil progress.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Chemistry in a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising attainment.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to attend a registration interview.
