Chief Finance Officer (CFO) – South & East Yorkshire & Greater Lincolnshire

About the role

We are looking for a self‑employed Chief Finance Officer to deliver part‑time CFO services to ambitious private businesses (£2‑50 M) across South & East Yorkshire and Greater Lincolnshire. You will work with business owners, CEOs and MDs, helping them achieve growth, acquisitions or a lifestyle‑focused financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic finance leadership and advisory services to a portfolio of mid‑size companies.
  • Support owners in financial planning, budgeting, cash‑flow management and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director and a network of CFOs to share best practices and drive results.

Required profile

  • Qualified member of a UK chartered accounting institute (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience as a CFO or Finance Director in a commercial setting.
  • Strong commercial finance and business‑strategy expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to build genuine, long‑lasting client relationships.
