Chief Finance Officer – Flexible Contract

About the role
We are looking for a senior finance professional to deliver part‑time CFO services to ambitious private businesses (£2‑50M) across Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales. The role is self‑employed, offering autonomy, a supportive network of CFOs and the chance to build a personal portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and advisory services to mid‑size owners, CEOs and MDs.
- Develop and manage a personal client portfolio, delivering growth, acquisition and consolidation advice.
- Collaborate with regional directors and a collegiate network of CFOs to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a CFO or Finance Director in commercial finance and business strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to build long‑lasting client relationships and work independently.
