Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – SaaS Scale‑up

About the role

Harper May Ltd is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing founder‑led SaaS business. Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO will shape financial strategy, drive fundraising and embed robust controls as the company scales across geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a financial strategy that balances growth investment with profitability and runway.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecasting, and scenario modelling for the executive team and Board.
• Lead fundraising processes, manage investor relationships, and negotiate term‑sheets.
• Establish financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting structures suitable for a scaling SaaS operation.
• Drive working capital management, cash‑flow forecasting, and capital allocation decisions.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a growing finance team to deliver accuracy and insight.
• Partner with commercial and product teams on unit economics, pricing strategy, and go‑to‑market decisions.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 10+ years in senior finance roles.
• Proven experience in SaaS, software, or high‑growth technology businesses.
• Strong track record in fundraising, investor relations, and working with institutional capital.
• Deep technical accounting expertise combined with commercial business sense.
• Experience leading finance teams and operating at Board level.
• Fluency in financial modelling, systems implementation, and process design.
