Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

Man Group is seeking a senior security leader to own the Information Security and Identity & Access Management function across the firm. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk, the CISO will shape strategy, drive cultural change and ensure security is embedded in all business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the information security strategy, aligning investment with the firm’s risk appetite.
• Lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) programme, including both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day operations.
• Set, enforce and continuously improve security standards across technology, operations and business units.
• Partner with teams to embed secure access controls into existing and new systems.
• Enable safe adoption of AI and emerging technologies while managing associated risks.
• Drive security awareness, training and communication throughout the organisation.
• Oversee the Deputy CISO who manages daily security operations and policy implementation.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in information security and IAM within a complex, global organisation.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and embed security culture across diverse business functions.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of aligning security initiatives to business risk appetite.
• Excellent communication skills to convey security concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
