Chief Revenue Officer

About the role

Reed is partnering with a fast‑growing organisation to find a Chief Revenue Officer. This senior commercial leader will own the end‑to‑end revenue cycle, ensuring contracts, billing and reporting are accurate and efficient across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full client contract lifecycle, including renewals, upsells, scope changes and rate‑card updates.
• Oversee monthly billing, invoicing, retainers and revenue reconciliation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client, contract and revenue records in CRM and finance systems.
• Produce regular revenue, billing and account performance reports for senior leadership.
• Monitor account health, identify leakage or churn risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Improve workflows between sales, client services and finance, championing automation and process optimisation.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance across all commercial systems.
• Support and train team members on commercial processes, systems and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial operations, revenue operations, billing or client finance.
• Around 2 years experience leading a team, function or operational process.
• Strong commercial awareness, financial acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in agency, professional services, consultancy or B2B environments is a plus.
