Child Protection Advisor (Temporary, £45.20/hr)

About the role
Our client, Brent Council, is seeking a qualified Child Protection Advisor to chair Child Protection Conferences on a temporary basis. The position lasts an initial three months and is paid at £45.20 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Chair initial and review Child Protection meetings, ensuring statutory compliance.
- Facilitate hybrid meetings that combine in‑person attendance at the Civic Centre or Willesden Library with online participation.
- Coordinate with the CPA, social workers, and parents to deliver effective protection decisions.
Required profile
- Qualified Social Worker fully registered with Social Work England.
- Minimum three years post‑qualification experience within a local authority setting.
- Demonstrated experience as a Child Protection Chair or Independent Review Officer (IRO).
