About the role
Our client, a well‑regarded law firm in Shropshire, is looking for a dedicated Childcare Solicitor to join its dynamic team. The role offers a supportive environment with flexibility around working days, hours and hybrid arrangements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage an independent caseload of childcare matters.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
- Provide expert legal advice on childcare arrangements and related disputes.
- Engage with Children’s Panels where appropriate.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience.
- Proven ability to manage your own caseload.
- Strong advocacy and courtroom skills.
- Professionalism, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Required skills
- Legal research and case preparation.
- Client counselling on family and childcare law.
- Drafting of legal documents and court submissions.
