Children Law Solicitor – Multiple Positions

About the role

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is expanding its highly regarded Child Care Department in London and is looking for three qualified Children Law Solicitors. You will provide specialist advice and representation to children, parents and families across a wide spectrum of matters such as adoption, custody, surrogacy, same‑sex parenting and international child abduction.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in all aspects of children and family law, including adoption, divorce, co‑parenting and surrogacy.
• Prepare and negotiate court documents, settlement agreements and consent orders.
• Liaise with social services, courts and external agencies to protect the best interests of children.
• Conduct client meetings, provide clear legal guidance and manage case files from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate with senior partners and specialist panels to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• SRA‑registered solicitor with a solid track record in children or family law.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex family disputes and adoption matters.
• Excellent analytical, communication and advocacy skills.
• Commitment to the firm’s ethos of giving people a voice.

Required skills

• Qualified solicitor (SRA‑registered).
• In‑depth knowledge of UK children and family law.
• Strong client‑focused advisory abilities.
