About the role

We are seeking a Children Panel Solicitor to lead our Family Department locally in Leeds. The role offers autonomy to develop a thriving team while delivering high‑quality public law services.

Key responsibilities

Take the lead on Children Panel work for the Leeds office.
Provide advocacy and guardian‑following in public law, child protection, SGO and adoption cases.
Build and shape a dedicated team, driving business development and partnership opportunities.
Work within hybrid, paper‑less systems to deliver efficient legal services.

Required profile

Law Society Children Panel accreditation.
Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience.
Strong advocacy and guardian‑following skills.
Passion for publicly funded work and business development.
Experience in public law, child protection, SGO and adoption.
