Children's Activity Instructor

About the role

GLL is seeking an enthusiastic Children’s Activity Instructor to deliver engaging holiday clubs and birthday parties at the New Addington Leisure & Community Centre. You will create a safe, inclusive and fun environment for children while supporting the centre’s community mission.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver holiday club sessions and birthday party activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
• Follow the Customer Charter and all compliance and administration procedures.
• Promote equality of opportunity and inclusion for every child.
• Maintain and clean equipment and activity areas according to the cleaning matrix.
• Log and report any safeguarding concerns to the Sports Officer.

Required profile

• Excellent communication with both adults and children.
• Friendly, approachable, imaginative and a positive role model.
• Confident in organising and supervising party activities.
• Commitment to creating a welcoming and safe environment.
