About the role
We are seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join the Safeguarding & Assessment Team serving the Amersham area. This contractor position offers a competitive rate of £40 per hour and flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Key responsibilities
- Work within the Safeguarding & Assessment Team to protect children and assess family needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop case plans, and collaborate with multi‑agency partners.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines.
Required profile
- Qualified social worker with experience in children’s social work, safeguarding and assessment.
- Familiarity with the Buckinghamshire local authority framework.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
