Children's Support Worker – Folkestone (£15‑£18 per hour)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Children’s Support Workers to join our team in Folkestone, Kent. This temporary role involves providing high‑quality support to vulnerable children and young people, helping them build resilience and develop positive coping strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support vulnerable children and young people in a variety of settings.
• Collaborate with families, schools, social workers and healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
• Promote resilience and teach positive coping strategies.
• Deliver flexible, on‑site support tailored to individual needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children or young people in a support role.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
• Ability to work flexibly across different settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
