Children's Support Worker – Southampton – £15-18 per hour

About the role
Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking experienced Children's Support Workers for flexible, temporary assignments in Southampton. You will play a vital part in supporting vulnerable children and young people, helping them build resilience and develop positive coping strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct support to children and young people in a variety of settings.
- Collaborate with families, schools, social workers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Promote safeguarding and child protection practices at all times.
- Adapt interventions to meet the individual needs of each child.
Required profile
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a child or youth support role.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- Ability to work flexibly across different environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
