Children's Support Worker (Therapeutic Residential)

About the role
Join a therapeutic residential team that provides a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young people who have experienced trauma. You will use a person‑centred approach to build trust, establish daily routines, and help vulnerable children rewrite their futures.
Key responsibilities
- Develop consistent, trusting relationships so young people feel safe and heard.
- Apply trauma‑informed techniques to support children in managing emotions and high‑pressure moments.
- Assist with daily routines, mealtimes, education, hobbies, and maintain accurate records.
- Act as a positive role model and advocate, ensuring children’s voices shape their care.
Required profile
- Empathy and resilience – remain calm, patient, and professional under pressure.
- Reliability – committed to 24/7 service routines, including long days and sleep‑ins.
- Strong communication – engage effectively with children and work collaboratively within a tight‑knit team.
Required skills

- Competitive pay: £13.20 per hour plus £60 per sleep‑in shift.
