Civil Enforcement Officer – Unattended CCTV (Bristol)

About the role

The Civil Enforcement Officer will help keep Bristol’s streets moving smoothly by monitoring bus lanes and bus stop restrictions using unattended CCTV cameras. You will work remotely, reviewing footage and issuing penalties to ensure compliance and reduce congestion.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to detect violations of bus lane and bus stop restrictions.
• Issue and process penalty notices in line with council policies.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
• Collaborate with traffic management and enforcement teams to support overall transport safety.
• Provide regular reports on enforcement activity and trends.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written communication skills for reporting and issuing notices.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
