Civil Engineer – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our growing Bristol team within a well‑established civil engineering consultancy. The role offers exposure to residential, commercial and mixed‑use development schemes across the UK, with responsibility from concept through to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare highways designs for S38 and S278 agreements.
• Produce drainage strategies for S104 and S185 submissions.
• Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage.
• Support earthworks assessments and feasibility studies.
• Liaise with clients, authorities and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience working as a Civil Engineer within a UK consultancy.
• Familiarity with S38, S278, S104 and S185 agreements.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• AutoCAD.
• Civil 3D.
• InfoDrainage (drainage design software).
• Knowledge of S38, S278, S104 and S185 agreement specifications.
