Civil Engineer – Lead New Bristol Team

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our long‑established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol. You will lead the delivery of drainage, flood‑risk and infrastructure projects while helping to build a new civil engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering projects across commercial, residential and infrastructure developments.
• Produce drainage designs, drainage strategies and flood‑risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and external stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and design information.
• Mentor junior engineers as the team expands.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering drainage design, flood‑risk assessments and development infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles.
• Ambition to progress into a leadership role and help grow a team.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
