Claims Adjuster – Financial Lines

About the role

A leading Lloyd’s market insurer is seeking a Claims Adjuster specialising in Financial Lines to join its casualty claims team in London. The role offers high autonomy, hybrid working and the chance to manage complex professional and financial liability claims from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Financial Lines claims (D&O, FI, Professional Indemnity) from inception to settlement.
• Conduct coverage analysis, liability assessment and quantum evaluation.
• Act as primary contact for clients and brokers, handling negotiations and providing clear updates.
• Build and maintain strong broker and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
• Contribute to team performance through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Experience handling Professional/Financial Lines claims.
• Ability to manage complex liability and coverage issues independently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a client‑facing approach.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• High emotional intelligence for managing sensitive or high‑value claims.
