Claims Audit Handler – Third Party Motor

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected insurance company for a Claims Audit Handler specialising in Third Party Motor. You will work closely with the Claims Management team to ensure high standards of quality, compliance and continuous improvement across the claims function.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out quality and compliance audits across the motor claims function.
• Review claims processes, identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Monitor claims handling standards and highlight opportunities for operational enhancement.
• Support the delivery of exceptional customer service while meeting regulatory and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months’ experience handling Third Party Motor claims.
• Broad understanding of the end‑to‑end claims lifecycle, including investigation, assessment, negotiation and settlement.
• Previous experience in audits, quality assurance, compliance reviews or file checking is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, independent and proactive with a passion for improving quality and customer outcomes.
