Claims Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Claims Operations Manager to lead a high‑performing team and deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. Based in our Ipswich office, this hybrid role offers the chance to collaborate with colleagues across WTW’s global network, including teams in London, Mumbai and other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations, performance and development of the claims team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement using Operational Excellence (OpEx) principles.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support strategic initiatives and business change programmes across Claims Operations.

Required profile

• Relevant industry or management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of claims processes.
• Proven leadership in operational or client‑facing roles.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage change and drive process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience handling multiple stakeholders and complex tasks simultaneously.
• Client‑first mindset aligned with WTW’s values.
