Class 1 Bulk Relief Tanker Driver – Dagenham

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking a Class 1 Bulk Relief Tanker Driver to join its Breedon Cement team in Dagenham. You will provide driver cover across a nationwide delivery network, ensuring timely distribution of cement and other powder products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 Bulk Powder Tanker safely to collect and deliver construction‑industry powders.
• Load and discharge powder products using pressurised systems while following safety protocols.
• Perform vehicle checks and routine maintenance to keep the tanker roadworthy.
• Complete all required delivery documentation accurately.
• Provide relief cover during planned and unplanned absences, including occasional night shifts.

Required profile

• Valid Category CE (Class 1) UK driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to handle equipment safely.

• Hourly rate of £18.92 (£47,224 per annum based on 48 h/week).
