Class 1 Car Transporter Operator (C+E)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) driver to operate car transporters for our specialist Motorfreight division across Great Britain. You will be responsible for safe, efficient vehicle operation and delivering vehicles to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company car transporter safely and responsibly.
• Present the vehicle to the customer and conduct a full hand‑over, explaining controls and features.
• Complete delivery documentation using electronic platforms on tablets or smartphones.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class C&E (Class 1) licence.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience.
• Clean or low‑point licence (up to 6 points acceptable).
• Right to work in the UK and good knowledge of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.

Required skills

• Operation of digital tachograph equipment.
• Use of electronic delivery platforms on tablets/smartphones.
