About the role
We are seeking experienced HGV1 (Class 1 C+E) drivers to join a busy transport operation in Kempston. The role offers guaranteed five shifts per week, stable start times and the chance to progress to a permanent position.
Key responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 (C+E) trucks safely on scheduled routes.
- Complete trunking runs between distribution centres.
- Follow planned delivery plans with no multi‑drop work.
- Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- At least 6 months of Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
- Maximum six penalty points and no major endorsements.
- Professional attitude with a strong commitment to road safety.
Required skills
- Class 1 (C+E) vehicle operation.
- Trunking run execution.
