Class 1 Container Driver – Liverpool (Garston)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver for ongoing container work based in Garston, Liverpool. The position is full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday nights, with start times between 16:00 and 17:00, delivering containers safely across ports, depots and customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Transport containers to and from ports and customer locations.
• Secure all loads and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and required paperwork.
• Meet scheduled delivery times while maintaining high safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC) card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum six penalty points and no major endorsements.
• Previous container‑handling experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and related regulations.
• Reliable, professional and flexible attitude.

Required skills

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC (DQC) certification.
• Digital Tachograph operation.
