Class 1 Driver – Night Shift

About the role

DX Network Services is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver for a night‑shift position based in Exeter. You will join a leading parcel and freight logistics company, delivering goods to customers and hubs across the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods to and from customers’ premises and central hubs within the DX delivery network.
• Meet time‑sensitive delivery deadlines while managing on‑road routes.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Comply with driver’s hours, WTD legislation and on‑site health and safety requirements.
• Adapt routes in response to traffic signs, conditions or diversions.

Required profile

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Possess a current DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) card.
• Demonstrated ability to drive safely and legally, adhering to all relevant regulations.
• Ability to work night‑shift hours and handle time‑critical deliveries.
