About the role
We are seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to join our team in Swindon on a full‑time temporary basis. The role involves early‑morning and late‑afternoon shifts with a degree of flexibility to cover unsociable hours.
Key responsibilities
- Transport goods between Swindon and destinations across the South Coast and the Midlands.
- Perform trunking deliveries and occasional store overflow runs.
- Carry out pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
Required profile
- Full UK Category C+E licence held for at least 12 months.
- Valid CPC Card and Digi Card.
- Willingness to work shift patterns from Friday to Monday, including unsociable hours.
Required skills
- Class 1 driving proficiency.
- Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance reporting.
What we offer
- Hourly rate between £17.74 and £22.18.
- Additional £1.71 uplift for shifts between 20:00‑05:00.
- Flexible shift start times (00:00‑03:00 or 16:00‑19:00).
