Class 1 Driver – Tarmac Team in Barry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join GXO Logistics’ Tarmac team in East Aberthaw, Barry. The role involves transporting bulk cement tanks and palletised cement across South Wales and the South West of England on a full‑time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Trunk and load bulk cement tanks and tautliners of palletised cement at Aberthaw.
• Support deliveries throughout South Wales and the South West of England.
• Conduct vehicle checks and routine maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
• Complete all required documentation and delivery records accurately.

Required profile

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) UK driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience driving articulated Class 1 vehicles (preferred).
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of handling equipment safely.

Required skills
