Class 1 HGV Driver – Neasden (Temp, up to £27.47/h)

About the role

Royal Mail is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to operate trunking routes between depots in the UK. This temporary position runs through the remainder of 2026 and offers flexible morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail sites.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle checks and maintain top‑tier safety standards.
• Follow organised, planned routes with precision – no hand‑balling.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 2 years.
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the past 2 years.
• Maximum of 6 points on the driving licence.
• Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks.

Required skills

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• CPC card.
• Digital Tachograph operation.
