Class 1 HGV Driver – Night Shift (Leeds)

About the role
We are seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for a night‑shift position at our British Gypsum site in Sherburn in Elmet. The role is full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday, on a permanent PAYE contract, offering a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Operate full‑truck loads between British Gypsum sites.
- Drive new equipment and pull new trailers safely.
- Maintain a highly safety‑driven environment; sites are Silver Standard FORS compliant.
- No manual handling – all loads are loaded and tipped by British Gypsum staff.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
- No more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
