About the role
Insight Employment Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for a temporary, part‑time position based in Milton Keynes. The role involves covering holiday and sickness absences for a client, with both night and day runs.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a nightly run from Milton Keynes to the hub in Birmingham.
- Execute daytime deliveries with up to nine drops.
- Secure loads by correctly strapping vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records using a tachograph and CPC card.
- Provide courteous customer service during deliveries.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of HGV Class 2 driving experience.
- Valid CPC card and tachograph licence.
- Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points and no CD, DD, DR, or IN endorsements.
- Physically fit, reliable and able to work independently.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Milton Keynes and Birmingham area.
