Class 1 LGV Driver – Full‑time

About the role

Bulkhaul is looking for experienced Class 1 LGV drivers to join its Middlesbrough team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be responsible for transporting bulk liquids and powders in tank containers across the UK while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transport bulk liquids and powders safely and on schedule, complying with all road‑safety and ADR regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure tanks are properly cleaned between loads.
• Complete delivery notes, driving logs and other required paperwork accurately.
• Load and unload cargo using pumps, valves and other equipment in line with company procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients and site staff, handling any delivery issues promptly.
• Observe Working Time Directive rules and manage tachograph records.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Class 1 LGV driver.
• Valid LGV Class 1 licence (and ADR endorsement where hazardous goods are involved).
• Strong knowledge of UK road‑safety and hazardous‑goods regulations.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
