Class 1 LGV Driver – Permanent (Full/Part Time)

About the role

Royal Mail is seeking Class 1 LGV drivers to join its 24‑hour North West Super Hub operation in Warrington. The role offers permanent full‑time and part‑time contracts with flexible shift patterns, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Collecting and transporting mail from various sites to the next stage of the delivery process.
• Driving fixed routes across the UK while working independently.
• Loading and unloading the vehicle, delivering according to schedule and maintaining security of items.
• Using the latest technology to support efficient completion of duties.

Required profile

• Valid UK manual C&E licence – Large Goods Vehicle Class 1, with no more than 6 penalty points and no TT99 endorsement.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working unsupervised for long periods.
• Organised, punctual and able to meet tight timelines.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Community‑spirited and willing to support the team when required.
