Class 1 LGV Driver – Permanent & Part‑Time

About the role

Royal Mail is seeking Class 1 Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) drivers to join its 24‑hour logistics operation at the Midlands Super Hub in Crick, Wales. The role offers permanent full‑time and part‑time contracts with flexible shift patterns, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and transport mail between Royal Mail sites across the UK.
• Drive fixed routes independently, adhering to schedules and safety standards.
• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring the security of all items during transit.
• Utilise on‑board technology to record journeys and manage deliveries efficiently.

Required profile

• Valid UK manual C & E licence (Class 1) with no more than six penalty points and no TT99 endorsement.
• Self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised for extended periods.
• Organised, punctual and able to meet tight delivery timelines.
• Flexible to work a rotating shift roster, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Committed to keeping the United Kingdom connected.
