Class 1 Night Driver – Swindon

About the role

Responsive Personnel is seeking a reliable Class 1 Night Driver to join a local logistics team in Swindon. The role involves operating heavy goods vehicles during night hours, ensuring timely movement of stock between depots.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods between depots for onward delivery during night shifts.
• Secure loads and perform full vehicle checks before departure.
• Collaborate with Goods In teams to guarantee timely stock arrival.
• Adhere to safety and compliance procedures throughout each journey.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 (category CE) licence.
• Current CPC qualification and a functional tacho card.
• Minimum of 1 year experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Willingness to complete a full driving assessment.

Required skills

• Class 1 (CE) licence operation.
• CPC certification.
• Tacho card usage.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £15.53 – £17.86.
• Monday‑to‑Friday night shift (start between 00:00‑01:00).
