Class 1 Tanker Driver

About the role

Reading Industrial Pertemps is seeking experienced Class 1 Tanker Drivers for a well‑established concrete supplier in Theale. This is a three‑month, full‑time contract with three available slots, working Monday to Friday on a PM shift.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bulk power safely and efficiently to designated sites.
• Liaise with the Distribution Team and external customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain high health, safety and environmental standards at all times.
• Collaborate with Transport Management to optimise schedules and routes.

Required profile

• Previous tanker driving experience is preferred, with training provided if needed.
• Valid Class 1 licence, Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) and Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hard‑working attitude and positive mindset.
