Class 2 Delivery Driver – Temp Cover (Portsmouth)

About the role
Wild Recruitment are seeking experienced Class 2 Delivery Drivers for a temporary cover role supporting a busy freight company in Portsmouth. The position offers day shifts, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.
Key responsibilities
- Multi‑drop pallet deliveries & collections
- Loading and unloading safely
- Ensuring goods are transported securely and on time
- Daily vehicle checks & keeping your lorry clean and roadworthy
Required profile
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence
- At least 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN)
Required skills
- Good communication & customer service skills
- Experience with multi‑drop pallet deliveries
