Class 2 Delivery Driver – Temp to Perm

About the role

This 12‑week temporary position can lead to a permanent role, working Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm with occasional Saturdays. You will perform multidrop deliveries of customer orders to independent convenience stores and PFS locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pallets and cages of goods to multiple retail sites.
• Load and unload the lorry safely.
• Operate tail lifts and pump trucks.
• Secure loads using ratchet straps.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting as required.

Required profile

• Full UK Class 2 driving licence with a valid CPC and Tacho card.
• Excellent time‑keeping and customer‑service attitude.
• Own transport for commuting to the work site.
• Confidence operating tail lifts, pump trucks and ratchet straps.
• Willingness to handle manual‑lifting tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
