Class 2 Driver – Deliveries to Pubs & Bars

About the role

LWC Drinks is seeking a reliable Class 2 driver to join its Eastbourne depot. You will be responsible for delivering drinks to pubs, bars and customers across the South East, ensuring safety, punctuality and excellent customer service on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects to keep the vehicle road‑worthy.
• Deliver drinks to assigned locations on time, following the planned route.
• Load and unload stock using appropriate equipment and secure loads with proper restraints.
• Check deliveries against paperwork, collect payments where required and complete handheld device tasks.
• Collect empties (kegs, cases, gas bottles) and return them safely to the depot.
• Maintain clear communication with customers about any issues, shortages or delays.
• Support the warehouse team with loading, sorting returns and other tasks as needed.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures, driver hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules and working time regulations.
• Experience with safe loading practices and load‑restraint systems.
• Reliable, team‑oriented and able to present a professional appearance in company uniform.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Driver CPC certification
• Digital Tachograph card
• Knowledge of load‑restraint systems
