Class 2 Driver – Food Delivery

About the role

We are looking for motivated Class 2 Drivers to deliver frozen and chilled food products to restaurants and kitchens across South West England. You will work as part of a two‑person team, ensuring safe, on‑time deliveries while upholding our client’s high standards of customer service and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver temperature‑controlled goods within allocated time windows.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects, and maintain temperature controls.
• Load, unload, and secure products, protecting their integrity during transport.
• Provide professional customer service, addressing queries and concerns politely.
• Complete delivery paperwork, inspection reports, and confirmation documents accurately.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, logistics coordinators, and fellow drivers to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (C) driving licence – novice drivers welcome.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physical fitness for handling loading and unloading tasks.
• Positive attitude, flexibility and strong work ethic.

Required skills

What we offer

• Guaranteed minimum 45‑hour week.
• £16.50 per hour.
• 7 pm start with flexible finish times.
• Immediate start and potential progression to permanent employment.
