Class 2 Driver – HGV Delivery Role

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join its Birmingham team, delivering goods for the British retailer WHSmith. This permanent, full‑time position offers a stable schedule on a 5‑day‑from‑7 pattern, with flexible start‑time windows.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out multi‑drop deliveries to retail locations and collect returns.
• Load and unload palletised goods and cages safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service on each visit.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements.
