Class 2 Driver – HGV Delivery Role

About the role

Join Brakes, a leading UK food business and part of Sysco GB, as a Class 2 HGV Driver based in Bodmin. You will operate a 5‑over‑7 shift pattern, mainly Monday‑Friday, starting at 06:00, to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food products safely, on time and in compliance with food‑hygiene standards.
• Prepare and follow load plans, ensuring accurate documentation for each journey.
• Maintain vehicle records and complete required paperwork after each delivery.
• Build positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 Driver licence with current CPC cards.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to high‑quality customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Flexibility to work within a shift system and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
