Class 2 Driver – Multi‑drop Delivery

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a busy distribution company in Theale, Reading, for an experienced Class 2 driver. The role involves multi‑drop deliveries within a fast‑paced environment, ensuring parcels reach customers on time while providing a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Complete multi‑drop deliveries safely and efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with transport legislation.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and any required documentation.
• Undertake additional warehouse or operational duties as needed.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 (Category C) driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and a digital tachograph driver’s card.
• Previous experience with multi‑drop deliveries and working to delivery schedules.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Class 2 (Category C) vehicle operation.
• Driver CPC certification.
• Digital tachograph usage.

What we offer

• Salary between £33,500 and £35,000 per annum.
