Class 2 Driver – Street Works Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to join our Street Works Team in Kent. This position offers a long‑term, temp‑to‑perm opportunity with competitive hourly pay and the chance to work outdoors as part of a supportive crew.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely to transport personnel, tools, equipment and materials to street‑works sites.
• Work as part of a two‑person crew carrying out excavations, reinstatements and repairs in line with NRSWA regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, paperwork and loading/unloading duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working on public highways.
• Adhere to UK road transport legislation, health & safety procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• Valid NRSWA Street Works Operative Card (Units LA1, O1‑O6/O7 or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and a safety‑conscious attitude.
