Class 2 Driver – Waste & Recycling

About the role

Responsive Personnel are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a client based in Salisbury. The role involves operating waste and recycling vehicles on a pre‑planned route, with an immediate start and the possibility of long‑term, temp‑to‑perm employment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive waste and recycling vehicles safely and considerately, following assigned routes.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report any defects and ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Assist with loading and unloading of waste materials as required.
• Refuel and prepare the vehicle for the next day's use.
• Comply with all company health and safety policies.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to flexible working hours.

Required profile

• Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible approach to working hours and task allocation.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and report vehicle issues promptly.

Required skills
