Class 2 HGV Driver – Bristol (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV driver to join our warehouse and distribution team in Bristol. The role involves completing multi‑drop deliveries to our branch network, ensuring stock arrives safely, efficiently and on time. You will work Monday‑to‑Friday with no weekend commitments, offering a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑drop deliveries across the Bristol area.
• Load and unload the vehicle safely, handling heavy items as required.
• Carry out delivery checks and obtain proof of delivery for each stop.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation.
• Keep the vehicle clean, safe and roadworthy.
• Report accidents or incidents according to company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service on every journey.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation.
• Safe, professional driving record.
• Ability to perform manual handling and lift heavy items.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Positive, reliable attitude and team‑focused approach.
