Class 2 HGV Driver – Bristol

About the role

TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV driver to join its warehouse and distribution team in Bristol. You will be responsible for multi‑drop deliveries across the branch network, ensuring stock arrives safely, efficiently and on schedule. The role offers a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no weekend work, supporting a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete multi‑drop deliveries to branch locations.
• Safely load and unload the vehicle.
• Carry out delivery checks and obtain proof of delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and road‑worthy vehicle.
• Report accidents or incidents according to company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service on every journey.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation.
• Safe, professional driving record.
• Ability to handle manual lifting of heavy items.
• Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
• Positive, reliable attitude with a team‑focused approach.
