Class 2 HGV Driver – Full‑time at Brakes

About the role

Join Brakes’ Aylesford depot as a Class 2 HGV driver, delivering ambient, chilled and frozen food products across the South East. You will work a Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional Saturday shifts, starting at 06:00.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and load goods according to load plans, ensuring correct temperature control.
• Deliver orders safely and on time to customers, maintaining high food‑hygiene standards.
• Complete accurate delivery paperwork and maintain vehicle logs.
• Build positive relationships with customers and depot colleagues.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence with up‑to‑date CPC cards.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Class 2 HGV driving proficiency.
• Knowledge of CPC regulations.
